The trail will immerse you in the mysterious world of birds that are little known in Bulgaria – vultures It passes close to a specially built cage (aviary) for the adaptation of griffon vultures imported from Spain with the aim of restoring their population in Vrachanski Balkan.
The route will not only provide you with interesting information, but will also give you the opportunity to see griffon vultures live from a specially built observation deck and other suitable observation spots. When walking along the trail, follow the markings and do not disturb the vultures.
The route starts from the village of Dolno Ozirovo, climbs up to the aviary, and ends in the Izvora area at the foot of the Kotlya rock massif, where you can restrelax and refresh yourself with cold mountain water. The walking time is 2 hours.
